B-52’s debut album

On July 6, 1979 the planet shook with the release of the eponymous B-52’s debut album.
From the celestial opening of Planet Claire to the cheesy corny cover of Petula Clark’s, “Downtown” you get almost the perfect pop record. Seriously irreverent, the album in totality is catchy and infectious with a beat that is reminiscent of the 60s surf/beach pop.
Everyone has this album. EPIC !
